The 2012 Allentown St. Parick’s Parade is sponsoring a poster contest to create the 2012 Parade poster! The winning entry will have their poster displayed thought Allentown and the Lehigh Valley and featured as part of the 2012 Parade Program Book!
Who can enter?
The Allentown St. Patrick’s Poster Contest is for children grades Kindergarten to 8th grade
How are entries judged?
Each entry is judged on originality, artistic merit and expression of theme. First, Second, Third and Honorable Mention prizes will be awarded.
What is the theme of contest?
Poster must artistically express the theme of the St. Patrick’s Parade- St. Patrick!
How many entries can I submit?
Only one entry per person.
What are the rules of submission?
Submission must be 8 ½ x 11. Any medium can be used; watercolor, oil, charcoal, pencil etc…
The work must be original and cannot be traced or duplicated. No 3D images. The poster must include the wording “2012 Allentown St. Patrick’s Parade” within the poster
What happens to the artwork?
The artwork will become the property of the Allentown St. Patrick’s Parade
